2011 Sports Awards Set to Hail a Knock-out Year
Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist boxer Paddy Barnes, and Linwoods Brand Manager Maeve McKeefrey, are aiming for a ringside seat at the upcoming Belfast Telegraph Sports Awards on Monday 16th January at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.
Sponsored by Linwoods and supported by Sport Northern Ireland, the awards will honour our top sporting heroes in both the professional and amateur fields at the gala black tie event.
Awards will be presented across 12 categories including Young Team of the Year, Manager/Coach of the Year, Hall of Fame and Sports Star of the Year. Light flyweight boxer Barnes picked up last year’s Player of the Year Award.
